Welcome to Shaarey Zedek Religious School

V'shenanta l'fanecha; and you shall teach your children"

Shaarey Zedek Religious School strives to educate our students to live a meaningful Jewish life and be life-long Jewish learners.  We strive to model the values that we teach, and teach in a manner that is engaging, creative, and intellectually stimulating.

While affiliated with and making use of curricular materials provided by the Reform Movement, we acknowledge the religious diversity of the Shaarey Zedek community and teach within the framework of Klal Yisrael, the people of Israel .

Instruction is respectful of all Jews, providing information, role models and experiences rooted in both Reform and Conservative Judaism.

We believe that parents are students’ most powerful Jewish educators and endeavor to enrich Judaism in the home by providing family and adult educational opportunities.

We greatly appreciate the commitment and involvement of the families of our students. We involve students in the Shaarey Zedek community and encourage the Shaarey Zedek community to be involved with the school.
